Turning on the tracing on Operation Manager: 1.To turn on the tracing on the managed node as below: ovconfchg -ns eaagt -set OPC_TRACE TRUE -set OPC_TRACE_TRUNC FALSE -set OPC_TRACE_AREA ALL,DEBUG -set OPC_TRC_PROCS ALL -set OPC_DBG_PROCS ALL Verify that /var/opt/OV/tmp/OpC/trace is growing. 2.On the OVO mgmt server ovo, turn on the tracing as below: ovconfchg -ovrg server -ns opc -set OPC_TRACE TRUE -set OPC_TRACE_TRUNC FALSE -set OPC_TRACE_AREA ALL,DEBUG -set OPC_TRC_PROCS ALL -set OPC_DBG_PROCS ALL opcsv -trace Verify that /var/opt/OV/share/tmp/OpC/mgmt_sv/trace is growing. 3. Then send a test message on managed node: opcmsg a=test o=hpux msg_t="Testing" s=major Wait about 1 minute, then disable the traces by on node managed node ovconfchg -ns eaagt -clear OPC_TRACE -clear OPC_TRACE_TRUNC -clear OPC_TRACE_AREA -clear OPC_TRC_PROCS -clear OPC_DBG_PROCS 4.After that, turn off the trace on the ovou mgmt server ovconfchg -ovrg server -ns opc -clear OPC_TRACE -clear OPC_TRACE_TRUNC -clear OPC_TRACE_AREA -clear OPC_TRC_PROCS -clear OPC_DBG_PROCS opcsv -trace Then please see/check /var/opt/OV/tmp/OpC/trace and /var/opt/OV/log System.txt from managed node. /var/opt/OV/share/tmp/OpC/mgmt_sv/trace from the ovou mgmt server.
